Product Description
The Wall Mount is ideal for obtaining side-to side rotation and upward/downward tilt. It supports LCD screens up to 44 lbs. Compatible with screens that have VESA 50mm/75mm/100mm mounting hole patterns. Arm extends from wall up to 17.7" or folds flat to save space. The two arm assembly allows the full articulation of the monitor/keyboard, folds up to 3" from the wall and extends 17.7" to the mounting of the monitor. This mount has two articulating joints which together provide 180 degrees of movement. Cosmetic cover provides cable management. How to check whether this mount fits your LCD? First the weight of your LCD must be less than 44 lb. If your LCD Monitor or TV has 4 holes on the back of the screen that are either50mm, 75mm or 100mm apart from each other vertically and horizontally, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount and 4 holes should be revealed. This mount is VideoSecu brand. Please report to Amazon.com if you recieve a mount without VideoSecu logo.

If you've been researching wall mounts you probably came to the same conclusion I did - this is a great price for a mount that holds up to 44 pounds- similar ones cost $80 or more, even from discount stores.
Unfortunately this is a lesson where you probably want to spend more money because this product isn't what you need unless you have a very small TV, maybe 14" or 15" - I used it on a 24" with poor results.
First let me say that the instructions that come with it say the max weight is 66 pounds, the Amazon info listed 44 pounds, I'd bet it's closer to 22 pounds. The 'weak' point is the bracket that angles the TV up/down, such as what you'd use if watching from your bed but have it mounted high on the wall. The bracket is a simple "U" shape with a nut & bolt holding it on to the arm itself. The 24 pound weight of my TV was bending this "U" shape after just a few minutes- it also makes the whole TV prone to vibration nor will it stay perfectly level. I don't see this being an issue for smaller and lighter monitors but 20+ pounds is too much, I couldn't imagine 40 or more.
On the plus side the 'arm' is very sturdy when mounted as described to a single beam, it also comes with the plastic inserts if you don't hit a stud... The screws it comes with aren't flat-head or philips type screws, they have a hex-head that will require you having a socket set to 'screw' them in to the drilled holes.
The tools you need are:
Socket Set, Drill (with 3mm bit for stud drilling or 10mm for hollow-wall mounting), Level, pencil - to mark where to drill, no 'template' is included, and tape or zip-ties to secure the wiring if you're going to run it down the arm.
The plastic 'covers' that come with it add a nice enough finish to the mount... it also comes with 2 sets of screws for the VESA mount - the smaller set was needed to fit to my TV which had a nice tight fit.

This bracket is sturdy, attractive and easy to install. I was able to hit a stud with all three lag screws, and it easily supports my 19" flat screen TV (8.9 lbs.) I did have to disassemble it in order to get the middle screw into the wall, so four stars is all I can give it. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
